JB Weld RTV Silicone Sealant & Adhesive is a high-quality, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone ideal for sealing and bonding a wide range of surfaces. This general-purpose silicone is perfect for use in both automotive and household applications. Upon exposure to air moisture, it cures to form a tough, flexible, and waterproof seal that resists weathering, cracking, and shrinking.

Available in multiple colors to suit a variety of needs and finishes:

Ultimate Black & Ultimate Grey – High Temp Automotive Formulas

Specifically engineered for high-performance automotive applications where high heat and vibration resistance is critical.

Application Instructions

  1. Prepare – Clean and dry surface area thoroughly.
  2. Apply – Dispense a 1/4” continuous bead to one surface; ensure all bolt holes are surrounded.
  3. Assemble – Join parts while silicone is still wet.
  4. Secure – Hand-tighten until sealant begins to squeeze out.
  5. Dry – Allow to dry for 1 hour, then tighten an additional ½ turn.
  6. Finish – Trim excess cured sealant. Full cure achieved in 24 hours.
